Week 32 April 14th-16th

 Monday April 14th

We started our week off with Gardening and Granola with Grandparents! Students had so much fun planting with their grandparents and we are so thankful for all of those who were able to come.




We continued our day by figuring out which words had a u and which words had an i in the middle.  We finished our day with an episode of Nature Cat while working on a special craft.


Tuesday April 15th

Our day started by reading the story of Jesus' Resurrection and discussed how we don't have to see things to believe, just as the disciples believed before seeing Christ resurrected.

We finished our day with some cooperative learning time where students were tasked with sharing toys and working together to build.




Wednesday April 16th

We started the day off with all school Mass with our 7th grade buddies.  After Mass, we came back to our classroom to eat snack and have some center time.

After nap, we enjoyed our ice cream sandwiches for ice cream day and attended our monthly praise assembly.





Important Reminders

  • No School April 17th, 18th, 21st or 22nd for Easter Break.
  • Mass on April 30th. Please arrive by 7:45.
  • May 13th is a 1:30 dismissal.
  • May 14th is a praise assembly at 2:00.
  • The last day of school is May 15th.

  Where do i even begin?  I want to thank all of the parents for helping your child be successful in this first "week" of school!  I am so proud of all of my students for how quickly they have adapted to this next adventure!  I will post on our classroom website once a week (I will try to have the weekly post up by Saturday evenings).  I will also try to do a better job of taking pictures during activities so that you as parents can have a better look into our classroom. Week 2- Aug 19th-23rd

  Monday August 19th Monday we started talking about all of our curriculum work.  We introduced Larry the letter lion to help us reviewing and introducing our handwriting buddies.  We talked all about Stanley stick and how he starts at the top and goes straight down to the bottom.  We also talked about the letter A and made a list of words that all start with the a sound. During religion class, we talked about the Bible and what it is made up of.  We then talked about Jesus and who he is and what his mission on Earth was (spreading God's love).  The students met our classroom stuffed Jesus and got to see where to find him in our classroom.   After recess, we had a popsicle party to celebrate a friend in Miss Nikki's class who had a birthday, as well as his sister in our class.  We then started in on our emotion lesson by reading "A Little Scribble Spot" and talking about what colors match each emotion.  We then finished our day with our ...

  Hello preschool families!  I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! My name is Miss Harley Hagenhoff and this is my first year teaching!  I recently graduated from Missouri Valley College in December of 2023 with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.  Before that, I graduated from Helias Catholic High School in May of 2020.  I am the oldest of 7 kids and have two fur babies, Dakota and Elsa.  If I am not in the classroom, I am typically finding some sort of craft to do or playing with my puppies!
