Miss Harley's Preschool Happenings

  Monday February 2nd We had our makeup glow party this morning.  Students started the day dancing in the big school gym for an epic dance glow party. We then moved to lunch where DJ Father Clark gave us the most amazing beats to dance to. Students also took part in "glow centers" where they participated in bowling, coloring, cup stacking, a ball toss, and dancing throughout the preschool building! Tuesday February 3rd We started our day off in church with our 8th grade buddies.  Students were able to receive a blessing of the throat during this time. Students also got meet up with their 8th grade buddies later in the day to make up our service learning project from last week.  Students worked with their buddies to make valentines to give to a local nursing home. We also celebrated Evelyn C. half birthday! Tuesday January 27th Since the day was a late start,  Students got to enjoy skipping nap to watch a movie!   Wednesday January 28th We started our day on Wednesday by practicing counting syllables.  Students have done such a great job in picking up this concept in our room.  We also discussed the different ways that we can pray and talk to God while also talking about how lucky we are to be in a school where we can show our love for God daily. Students also cheered on Molly, as well as the rest of the school in our all school pep assembly. Thursday January 29th We started our day by coloring thank you notes for the priests at St. Peter and St. Andrew Churches.  We also discussed how priests help to guide us in our faith. We also enjoyed watching the Staff vs. 8th grade volleyball game. Friday January 30th We started the day with the Pilgrims of Hope parade, where students got to show off all of their big dreams.
